Vivek hails from an upper middle class Nair family settled in Ernakulam. He was born and brought up in Abu Dhabi/Dubai. He did his schooling and college studies in Dubai from Manipal University specializing in Finance & Accounting. He also completed his MSc. in Risk Management from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom (On-Campus) following which he worked for 5 years with a Government bank in Dubai. Later, he migrated to Canada and is currently residing in Toronto as a permanent resident, working with the Royal Bank of Canada.
